This is an example of the handmade cradle boards that I use for my projects and for most pet portrait commissions.  I like building the boards, the process can be very meditative.  Although, painting the backgrounds take some time, it’s the time I get to be playful and experiment with new techniques.  All backgrounds are completed before the projects begin.
